In-Clinic Diagnostics

Some health conditions in pets are not detectable during an external examination. For this reason, we conduct annual diagnostic testing to help us get an accurate picture of your pet’s overall health. We can process many test results on site, typically within minutes. This is especially beneficial for critical illness and injury cases that need prompt diagnosis and treatment.

Tests that we perform on a routine basis include age appropriate ancillary diagnostics such as blood pressure screening, complete blood screen (CBC, chemistry panels), heartworm tests, urinalysis, and fecals.

At Crestline Pet Care, we recommend annual diagnostic testing so that our veterinarians will have a continuous, complete medical history of your pet. Having a history of test results lets us know if there is a significant change that indicates an underlying condition or disease. This allows us to treat an illness in its early stages, giving your pet the best opportunity for recovery.
